Agtop" company launched production of aerated concrete(uza.uz)

In its activity the Association "Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari" gives an important role to realization of investment projects. Among the projects implemented by it, special attention is paid to the project on setting up production of aerated concrete.

In December last year Agtop started production of the first autoclaved aerated concrete. This is an important event in the construction industry, which will contribute to ensuring low cost of construction of buildings and structures, as well as increasing the speed and quality of construction works.

In February this year, a large Arton autoclaved aerated concrete plant was put into operation in Ahangaran district of Tashkent region with the cooperation of "Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari" and "Uzcharmsanoat" associations.

A special press tour was organized by "Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari" Association to familiarize media representatives with the activities of the enterprise.

Its participants familiarized themselves with the processes of aerated concrete production at the enterprise. According to Deputy Director of the company Abdusalom Obidov, East Manning Invest JV LLC has implemented an investment project worth 30 million dollars. The production capacity is 500 thousand cubic meters of products per year. About 100 new jobs have been created.

- The enterprise is equipped with the latest energy-saving equipment from German company "Wehrhahn GmbH" and technologies of Turkish companies "Ersel" and "Erensan", - he noted. - The production is fully automated, foreign and local specialists are involved in production.

So, what is the role of aerated concrete production in the construction industry? What is the advantage of aerated concrete over bricks? The participants got detailed answers to these questions from local and foreign specialists working in the company.

According to Chief Technologist Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, the use of energy-efficient aerated concrete instead of bricks is widespread in developed countries. In this regard, the activity of "Arton" company is very important in wide establishment of production of this building material in our country and introduction of world experience in this direction.

Aerated concrete - a type of cellular concrete - is a modern building material. Sometimes it is called "artificial stone". Its difference from ordinary concrete is that it has bubbles 1-3 millimeters in size, thanks to which the concrete is light, strong enough, has good protective properties against heat and cold. Unlike burnt bricks, it consumes 8 times less natural gas, is energy efficient and, most importantly, does not use fertile soil. For example, if 1 cubic meter of brick weighs 1800-2000 kilograms, the weight of gas concrete of such volume is only 500-700 kilograms.

- Currently, the daily production of aerated concrete at the enterprise is 560 cubic meters," Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov said. - Almost one hundred percent local raw materials are used in production. These are mainly quartz sand, lime, gypsum and cement.

It should also be noted that when used outside, aerated concrete can be used for construction of five-storey houses, and when used inside - 9-storey houses.

The production of aerated concrete has 100 years of experience in the global production of building materials and 50 years of experience in Turkey. In our country, too, a number of small enterprises have been established for the production of aerated concrete. However, their products did not meet modern requirements in terms of quality. It is noteworthy that the new enterprise "Arton" has become one of the world leaders in terms of being equipped with the latest modern equipment.

In order to widely apply this innovation in the production of construction materials, to meet the needs of the population in aerated concrete, it is planned to create such innovative enterprises in Andijan and Navoi regions.

In a word, the company "Arton" makes the first steps on the way to export 30 percent of finished products to neighboring countries.
