During a visit to the German-Uzbekistan Investment Business Forum, Arton and Wehrhahn GmbH signed a contract for the supply of German production lines for two new autoclaved aerated concrete plants in Uzbekistan

Representatives of Arton and Wehrhahn GmbH held a meeting at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin on May 2, where they signed a contract for the supply of German production lines for two new autoclaved aerated concrete plants in the cities of Urgench and Andijan. The production line will be delivered in 2023 and is planned to be launched by the end of 2024. The representatives of the companies also signed a memorandum of intent for the construction of two new plants in the cities of Navoi and Termez, with the delivery of the production line and launch of the plants in 2024-2025.

The production capacity of the plant in Andijan city will be 600,000 m3 per year, as well as 300,000 m3 in Urgench city, at a total cost of 46 million euros. The new aerated concrete plants in Termez and Navoi will also be equipped with German production lines.

In Termez, an aerated concrete plant with a production capacity of 300,000 m3/year will be built, and in Navoi, an aerated concrete plant with a production capacity of 600,000 m3/year and a fiber cement panel plant with a production capacity of 2,250,000 m2/year will be built. The total value of the MoU is 75 million euros.

The signing of the memorandum was attended by the main leaders of the companies: the President of Wehrhahn Gmbh, Mr. Dr. Klaus Bonemann, the founder of Arton Group, Mr. Rakhmetov H.N. and the Chairman of the Board of SanoatQurilishBank, Mr. Annaklichev S.S. This contract is an important step for strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan and Germany, and also contributes to the development of the manufacturing sector in Uzbekistan.
